We're Shannon & Devin, a husband-and-wife team based in Michigan with a deep love for wild places and real moments. What started as a shared passion for the outdoors naturally grew into the way we document stories through our lens.
Our approach is rooted in guided documentary photography. Think walking hand in hand down a wooded trail or chasing after each other on Lake Michigan's shores - the kind of moments you’ll carry with you forever, frozen in time to relive again and again.

Shannon is the creative force behind the lens: the storyteller helping bring the vision to life for each experience. Drawn to honest moments and the stories that take shape naturally, her approach is calm, intuitive, and grounded in connection between people and nature. When not behind the lens (and let's be real, even then...) she spends her time exploring Michigan trails, chasing northern lights, and venturing into backcountry landscapes across the country with Devin. That adventurous lifestyle leads to thoughtfully scouted locations and imagery that's beautiful, natural, and intentional.

Devin is the brains behind the adventure: the adventure guru and extra set of hands. He works alongside Shannon as a second shooter, capturing additional angles and candid moments through the day while supporting the experience behind the scenes long before your day begins. From helping scout locations and reading the terrain to navigating trails and lending packing advice, Devin plays a huge role in keeping the day flowing smoothly. He's the backbone to every adventure, making sure logistics stay on track, beautiful locations are found, and you have the freedom to stay present in the moment while everything else is taken care of.

We don't just show up with cameras — we help plan, guide, and document experiences so they feel grounded, comfortable, and true to you. Whether that means choosing an accessible trail, pacing your session around the weather and season, or supporting a more remote, adventurous wedding day in the backcountry, we bring both creative vision and practical outdoor knowledge to every session.
For us, photos are more than the final images. They hold the moments, experiences, and adventures that stay with you long after the day is over.
