CLEAR GUIDANCE, THOUGHTFUL PLANNING, AND SPACE TO ACTUALLY ENJOY THE EXPERIENCE
Planning an outdoor session or an intimate elopement can feel overwhelming, especially if you’ve never done anything like this before. Our goal is to make the experience straightforward, supportive, and low-stress from the first message through final gallery delivery.
Whether you're planning an intimate outdoor wedding or a portrait session, we guide you through the practical details so you are never left guessing what happens next. Together, we build a plan that feels realistic, comfortable, and aligned with what you actually want — not what everyone else expects.
WE'RE A GREAT FIT IF YOU...
- Care more about how the day feels than performing for photos
- Prefer natural, outdoor settings over studios or traditional venues
- Want a built-in adventure crew who will hype you up and cheer you on well beyond your session or wedding day
- Want movement-based photos with guidance instead of stiff posing
- Value a calm, intentional experience
- Feel a little unsure about being photographed
- Want space to be present rather than rushing through a timeline
If you're drawn to quiet overlooks, forest trails, lakeshores, or meaningful outdoor places, you will likely feel right at home working with us.
THE PROCESS
inQUIRY & iNITIAL CONVERSATION
After you reach out, we schedule a short consultation to learn more about what you are envisioning, answer any questions or concerns, and determine whether we are a good fit for each other. This is a relaxed conversation where we can talk through timing, location ideas, and any uncertainties you may have.
Booking & Planning
Once you decide to move forward, we secure your date with a contract and retainer. Planning begins at whatever pace makes sense for your timeline. For elopements, this may include location direction, permit guidance when needed, and timeline development based on logistics to your day. We are ordained as well, which means we can legally perform your ceremony if you're planning something more private. For portrait sessions, planning typically focuses on choosing a location, adventure activity, timing, and outfit guidance.

fINAL PREPARATION
As your date approaches for your session or elopement, we confirm the details so everyone knows what to expect, including meeting points, timing, and backup plans for weather.
Session or Elopement day
On the day itself, our role is to guide without taking over. We keep things moving when needed while allowing space for quiet moments and spontaneity. Outdoor environments are unpredictable by nature, so flexibility is built into the schedule to prevent the day from feeling rushed.
Editing & Gallery Delivery
Your images are carefully edited for color, tone, and consistency while preserving a natural look. Images are delivered in high resolution for printing as well as web-ready formats for online use. Galleries are delivered online for easy downloading, sharing, and print ordering.
OUR APPROACH
Our approach is centered around helping you feel comfortable enough to simply be yourselves. Instead of rigid posing, we use natural prompts, movement, and light direction that encourages genuine interaction. The focus quickly shifts away from the camera and toward enjoying the moment.
Many couples and families tell us afterward that the experience felt more like a date or a mini adventure than an actual photo session with a stranger. By the end, they often forget the camera was even there. That's exactly the goal every time.
READY TO MOVE FORWARD?
If this approach sounds like what you're looking for, the next step is reaching out! We'll talk through your vision, answer questions, and help you decide whether we're the right fit.
